Coming Together to Nourish Our Community Food for Thought 2024 Was a Success!
This winter break, our community came together to make a difference! With the incredible generosity of our donors and the tireless dedication of our volunteers, Food for Thought provided nutritious meals, bridging the gap when school meal programs were paused -- to 720 students and their families from 15 elementary schools in the West Contra Costa County School District.
A heartfelt thank you to the amazing WCCUSD School Community Outreach Worker -- your unwavering commitment made this possible. Here’s to the power of unity and care in our community!

During these turbulent times in our country and the world, are you looking for a way to help those in need? Do you care about feeding children and their families when they are most vulnerable? Food for Thought of Contra Costa County has been successfully feeding school children since 2011. During the past 14 years, F4T has grown. We are now a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization with a governance board that meets once a month. Our current group of voluntary board members have been actively involved for many years, but of late it has become apparent that we need new members with fresh ideas and new perspectives. Please consider this wonderful opportunity to join an organization dedicated to feeding children.
